The Hunchback of Notre Damn was such an AMAZING disney movie. This is why:

- Main characters were not a dashing prince and/or ravishing princess

- Takes place in Paris during turmoil

- Unconventional story line without royals

- Girl is a gypsy. A fucking gypsy.

- Guy does not get the girl. Normally, I would disapprove of this but the story line makes it okay. This was meant to teach kids to love unconditionally, and accept those that seem different at first glance. Quasimodo’s character was so heartbreaking, I’m assuming it’s why there are no cute stuffed Hunchback’s sold at the Disney store.

This film was wildly underrated.
